Sue made many a connection in Salida, CO. She busied herself every Wednesday afternoon, sipping capuccinos and sharing knitting patterns and stories with an enterprising group of young local ladies. In recognition of her lively conversation, "lovely soul", "laughter and her lightness of being", the group dedicated a book in her name. The book "THE FLEECE AND FIBER SOURCEBOOK", by Deb Robson, can be found in the Salida Regional Library. Thank you to Jane, Lucy, Marilyn, Kristi, Nancy, Sharon, Becky and Gwen ... we're confident your contribution will be poured over by Sue's spirit.

Oh, Sues, I miss you. I miss our co-creative silliness and the delight we took in pulling back the edges of reality to peep inside and to wander in normally unseen worlds, with fairies and dragons and flights of fantasy, where we were both so comfortable. I miss you, the best little bakeress I knew, with fantasy made manifest in the creative/ inventive delicious delights to come out of your oven.... cookies and bars and treats, Oh my! In the light a candle gallery, my candle of choice was missing. For you, Sues, I'll light a campfire, after a day outside in nature, a fire with sparks to go up to the stars, and embers to watch glow, in fascination. Sues, I loved you; I love you. Thank you for being part of my life this time around. May that we meet again. Mitzi
